I specialize in a somatic trauma-informed approach to healing and utilize Somatic Experiencing, Somatic Attachment Therapy, Yoga Therapy and Eco-therapy as hallmarks of my practice. While I specialize in working with stress and trauma, the modalities I use are beautiful heart-centered approaches that can help us all be more connected human beings.
In sessions, my hope is to support you in slowing down to feel, connect with yourself, and use our time together in ways that feel most meaningful to you.
Stress and trauma can have a profound effect on our ability to feel well and engage fully with life. Often times we develop symptoms related to depression, anxiety, chronic pain, or stress-related disorders as a response to overwhelming events we have experienced. I offer a unique approach that incorporates talk, body-based modalities and practices to connect with nature.
Clients often report a reduction of symptoms, improved relationships with self and others, a greater ability to understand and regulate themselves, and increased fulfillment through working together.
Main modalities I use include Somatic Experiencing, which is a body-oriented approach to healing trauma and stress related issues. I incorporate yoga therapy and trauma-informed yoga practices to enhance self-awareness, self-regulation, and empowerment.
When aligned with the client's goals, I also meet clients outside for ecotherapy, which is a practice dedicated to healing and connection through a healthy relationship with the Earth.
