Stress and trauma can have a profound effect on our ability to feel well and engage fully with life. Often times we develop symptoms related to depression, anxiety, chronic pain, or stress-related disorders as a result of overwhelming events we have experienced. I offer a unique approach to therapy that incorporates talk and body-based modalities. Clients often report a reduction of symptoms, improved relationships with self and others, a greater ability to understand and regulate themselves, and increased fulfillment from engaging in therapy.
I have been in private practice using body-based modalities for healing trauma and fostering wellness for over 11 years. I see clients in Bala Cynwyd, PA and primarily utilize yoga therapy, trauma-informed yoga, somatic experiencing (SE), and embodied mindfulness practices to support clients in reaching their goals.
